If you’re like me you’re always in a hurry. Finding time to fill your Patrol with fuel can be a real pain but what’s even worse is when you leave your filler cap on the bowser.
After leaving my third filler cap behind, I thought there
must be a solution to this problem. Why is it that there is nowhere to hang the cap on the car? Well it turns out there is! But it’s a little known fix. Not even my local Nissan Dealer knew of it.
After a little searching I found a cheap, easy to fit solution. And it even comes from the Nissan Dealer. It’s called a “Fuel Filler Cap Holder” and is sold under part number 17255-01G00.
Installation is easy, it simply clips into the existing holes in the filler access panel. No more lost filler caps.
